The prices here are per person, and are calculated based in a double occupancy when staying at a Private Home in Cuba.

Cuba, a large Caribbean island nation, is known for its white-sand beaches, rolling mountains, cigars and rum. Its colorful capital, Havana, features well-preserved Spanish colonial architecture within its 16th-century core, Old Havana, loomed over by the pre-revolutionary Capitolio. Visit some of the oldest and most chulture rich cities in Cuba, Havana, Viñales, Las Terrazas, Varadero, Guama, Cienfuegos and Trinidad (a colonial town that will make you feel like you are on the 1800s). Meet local tobacco farmers, enjoy Afro Cuban music and dance shows and our prized detailed architecture tour of Havana…

Day 1 – Thursday. :: Miami/Havana. Say hello to Cuba!

  • Arrival at Havana’s José Martí International Airport.
  • Expedited immigration, luggage and customs services.
  • Money Exchange Time.
  • Meet your guide and bus driver.
  • Visit “Finca Vigia’’ the home where Ernest Hemingway lived in Cuba.
  • Lunch at Paladar “Divino” (Welcome Cocktail). (included)
  • Check-in at Private Home in Vedado (enjoy a private welcome cocktail with home owner).
  • Time to freshen up. (2-Hours to recover your energy levels at your home).
  • Group welcome dinner with guide at Paladar “El Cañonazo” (included)
  • Attend the Cannon Blast Ceremony at 9.00pm. (We will delight ourselves with a cocktail while watching the ceremony).
  • Return to your home.

Day 2 – Friday. :: Havana.

  • Breakfast in your home at cuban style (included)
  • Guided walking tour in Havana’s Historical Center. (Havana’s Historical Center was declared Heritage Site in 1982 by UNESCO).
  • Lunch will be served at Paladar “La Moneda Cubana” (included)
  • Visit The Art craft Market “San José”, a giant arts and crafts market (1 Hour to buy some souvenirs).
  • Visit the famous “Callejón de Hamel” an outdoor haven for Afro-Cuban musicians and artists in Centro Habana.
  • Time to freshen up at your Home.
  • Group welcome dinner with guide at Paladar “Vista Mar” (included)
  • Return to your cuban home
  • Time to say good night to your traveling companions. “Buenas Noches”!!!

Day 3 – Saturday :: Havana.

  • Breakfast in your cuban home (included).
  • Meet members of the Nostalgic Car Club and enjoy a ride in their authentic 1950s American Cars around the city (Visit a Cuban Farmer’s Market, Visit to the third most important Cemetery in the world “Christopher Columbus” and Visit to the private studio of acclaimed Cuban muralist and ceramist José Fúster described as the Picasso of the Caribbean.
  • Lunch will be served at Paladar “La Cueba del Zorro”. (included)
  • In the way back to the hotel we will visit an orphanage in Miramar where about 15 children between 10 and 15 years old have a home. (Donations are welcome for Children)
  • Time to freshen up at your cuban home.
  • Dinner tonight is on your own. Your tour leader will be happy to recommend the best local paladares.
  • Free evening to explore the city.

Day 4 – Sunday :: The Viñales Valley. (A landscape interspersed with dramatic rocky outcrops)

  • Departure to The Viñales Valley, those nature lovers are going to be delighted with an exquisite and unique landscape.
  • Visit the faux-prehistoric mural painting of the Valley.
  • The Lunch will be served at Paladar “Balcon Del Valle”. (Included)
  • Visit the Indian Cave. (An unforgettable experience aboard a boat through the cave)
  • Visit a tobacco-drying house, a tobacco farmer will teach you how to roll cigars. (There you’ll have the opportunity to smoke an authentic Cuban cigar) (Optional)

  • Time to freshen up at your Cuban Home!

Day 5 –Monday :: The Viñales Valley-Las Terrazas-Varadero.

  • Breakfast at your Home (included)
  • Departure at 8:00am to the Tourist Complex “Las Terrazas” a quaint, wholly self-sustainable eco community that also acts as a nature reserve.
  • Visit to “Cafetal Buenavista” (Located at 240 meters above the sea level, you will find the coffee farm of Buenavista, historic relic built at the beginning of the XIX century by French immigrants.
  • Coffee Time at the famous “Café de Maria”.
  • Meet a local artist and craftsman in his home and studio.
  • Lunch at the open-air Restaurant “Casa del Campesino”. (included)
  • Continue to Varadero.
  • On the way to Varadero you will have the opportunity to taste one of the best Piña Colada (included) and buy some souvenirs.
  • Dinner and overnight in Varadero. (included)

Day 6 –Tuesday :: Varadero-Boca de Guama-Trinidad.

  • Breakfast at your cuban home (included).
  • Check out at 8:30am.
  • Departure to Boca de Guama.
  • Boat trip through La Laguna del Tesoro “The Treasure Lake” to visit the Indian Village “Aldea Taina”.
  • Visit to the Crocodile Farm.
  • Lunch will be served at a local Paladar “Ismarys” (included)
  • Continue our tour to Trinidad, the most colonial city in Cuba. It was founded by Diego Velazquez in 1514. Together with the nearby Valle de Los Ingenios (Sugar Mill Valley), it has been one of UNESCO´s World Heritage sites since 1988.
  • Check-in at Casas Particulares (Private-Homes) in Trinidad.
  • Time to freshen up at your Cuban home.
  • Dinner will be served at one of our home. (included)
  • Free evening to visit “La Casa de la Trova, “La Casa de la Musica, Etc,” to enjoy a life performance of local musicians. The main spots in Trinidad are less than 2 blocks distance from our homes. (Optional)

Day 7 –Wednesday :: Trinidad.

  • Breakfast at our Home (included).
  • Walking tour around Trinidad’s Historical Center with our tour guide.
  • Lunch will be served at Paladar “La Botija” (Pizza Time with 100 % Cuban Flavor) (included)
  • Visit “El Valle de los Ingenios” -Sugar Mills Valley- it has around 70 historic sugar mills or ruins. They represent the importance of sugar to the Cuban economy over the centuries. It has a 45 meters (148ft) Tower “Torre Manaca Iznaga”
  • Visit the pottery place of Ariel Santander. (the most important ceramist on the Valley)
  • Return to our Homes.
  • Time to freshen up at our Home.
  • Dinner will be served at Paladar “Guitarra Mia” (included)
  • After dinner we can burn calories dancing at “Casa de la Musica” in the center of the Village chatting with locals and our new friends.
  • Time to say good night. “Buenas noches”

Day 8 –Thursday :: Trinidad.

  • Breakfast at our Home (included).
  • Visit Parque El Cubano (“The Cuban Park”) and other important spots in the Valley to learn about the projects to protect the environment in the area.
  • Lunch will be served at The Park. (included)
  • Visit the local Art Gallery Studio Yudit Vidal Faife.
  • Time to freshen up at your Home.
  • Dinner will be at Paladar “La Marinera”. (included)
  • Music and bar evening. (Optionl) (Not Included)

Day -Friday :: Trinidad-Cienfuegos.

  • Breakfast at our Home (included).
  • Depart to Cienfuegos.
  • Walking tour around Cienfuegos’s Historical Center, a city founded in 1819.
  • Visit to Tomas Terry Theater.
  • Visit El Palacio del Valle “Valley Palace.”
  • Visit Castillo de Jagua “Jagua Castle”.
  • Lunch will be served at Paladar “Villa Lagarto” (included)
  • After Lunch, bid farewell to Cuba as you board your flight back to Miami, See you soon Cuba. Adios Cuba, Hasta pronto!

***Many of the places we visit are not tourist destinations and are thus not always available.  Flexible travelers with a sense of humor consider it part of their Cuban adventure. Final itineraries will be send to the travelers two weeks prior to departure.

    ***All guests are responsible for domestic airfare to Miami, and we recommend our guests to arrive at Pullman Miami Airport Hotel on Wednesday by 4:00 PM, not before this time.
    ***We can arrange departures from Cancun or Toronto.
    ***Non refundable booking deposit: 25% of the tour cost.
    ***To make a reservation, we only require a per-person deposit payment, which you can pay online with your credit card. This non-refundable deposit will be applied towards the cost of your package. You can pay the balance due later by credit card, check or money order. Your final payment is due 60 days prior to departure, or within 72 hours of booking, whichever is later.
